CONGRATULATION TO YOU MADAM LINDA, OUR MPH GRADUATE

  CONGRATULATION ON YIUR GRADUATION WITH AN MPH! YOU ARE AN EPITOME OF PUBLIC HEALTH. On this special day we join the echoes of the earth to celebrate your achievement, you have distinguished yourself among your peers with knowledge, and experience. You are a celebrated Nurse - Midwife, the entire Nurse - Midwife fraternity is proud of you. Join me in celebrating a special woman of knowledge, wisdom and beauty. Let's celebrate people whiles they live.

I introduce to you Madam Linda Tagbor, our MPH Graduate.

She  completed Kpando Sec School in 1998,Went to Ho Community Nurses Training School in 2000 completed 2002, Posted to the then Brong Ahafo Region this same year,was sent to Sene District Kwame Danso, worked in three health facilities in the district from 2002 to 2005.Went to Jirapa Midwifery Training School in November 2005,completed in Feb 2008. Was posted in July 2008 to the BA Regional Hospital. Was reposted to Sene District in 2011, spent less than a year there and came Sunyani precisely Sunyani west district, worked at Kwatire and Nsoatre Health Center till I came back to the BA Regional Hospital in 2017 till date.I did my first degree at Catholic Church University Fiapre Sunyani from 2013 to 2016 and MPH (PFRH) in 2018 to 2019.

She volunteers with the FRIENDS OF HEALTH ASSOCIATION( FOHA) and a member of the FOHA Research, Policy & Advocacy committee.

She wants to see greater change in the public health landscape in Ghana. 

CONGRATS EVANS AGBOTRO KOFI

   Evans completed Yamfo Anglican Shs in 2011 with excellent results by dint of hardwork coupled with the grace of God. Through hardwork, determination and resilience, he gained admission into University of Education, Winneba to read BA.History  Education in 2015. He was the general course rep for the 2015/2016 academic year. His quest for leadership gave him the impetus to vie for the University Hall president and won massively. His tenure of office saw a lot of developmental success . He was the chairman of the executive  council meetings and represented the students and the administration on many fronts. Whiles in Office, he led his administration to chalk the following successes as the University Hall president.

1.  fixed  a street light for them which was a major challenge

2.Established a reading room for the hall first in its kind

3 Liaised with management to solve the intermittent water supply in the hall 

4.major procurement were also made in all sectors of my administration especially the entertainment sector to boost the  moral of students in the hall

5.Free maga dinner cum health screening organized for all affiliates

6.Led the hall to participate in the intellectual debate  and got to the semi final of the competition until our exit.

7. On sport success,  also won most of the trophies in the various disciplines that the hall partook  in, thus inter hall athletics ,volleyball, football, handball and the likes 

8. Chaplaincy was able to bring selina Boateng during our  second semester all to boost the spiritual growth of our affiliates, so in all the Lords was faithful to us in all the activities that we took as an administration.

Like DNA that runs through the AGBOTRO family, he has being on a lot of regional and national student leadership fronts. He graduated with second class upper Honours and doing his service at the same University as Teaching Assistant. He is the Public Relations Officer for the service personel at the same University. His passion is for International Relationship &  Diplomacy. His next quest is to do his masters degree and PhD. 

   He started from a very humble beginning but through hardwork, determination, focus and God's blessings, he is poised to rising to the highest peak of life. The journey has not being easy for him but it has being worth the sacrifice and the price. With God all things are possible. He has made his parents and the entire family proud. He had his graduation yesterday 17th October, 2019

We celebrate you on your successful graduation and thank God for your life. On behalf of your parents, brothers and sisters, I say Congratulation for the achievement. Keep soaring higher and go higher until you reach your destiny. God bless and keep you for the years ahead.

     On this special day of your birth, have being pondering what to write about a personality and great icon and beacon of leadership and development like you.  You are really a dynamic personality that has influenced a lot in your day and still stirring change across the globe. Your tactfulness, your honest feedback, your love and integration into Youth activism, your passion and resolve to life time continious learning, your excellent communication skills, draws people towards you. You carry such a magnetic property of attracting potentials and people to yourself, your critical thinking and messages challenges one to always keep learning. You have being a great father, a friend and a counselor in my life. You have being very instrumental in my life; You advice to me on FOHA , JAKCONSULT, Watchers' chapel, personal life, your support during our MSC studies at CCOD UNIVERSITY, your help during our project work is still fresh like yoghurt. Your years have being full of blessing. 

   On this special ocassion, I invoke and provoke heaven and divinity to speak on your behalf, may you take root downwards and bear fruit upwards, go higher and make God proud, the church of PENTECOST, the entire body of Christ and the world at large. CONGRATULATION ON YOUR BIRTH DAY MUSAH

On the special occasion  of your birthday, this page is dedicated to celebrate and honour you for distinguished health care delivery through your Anaesthesia field, you have carved a niche for yourself, the confidence with which you do your work is commendable, your human relationship keeps drawing both clients and colleagues to your services, you make Anaesthesia desirable. Your hardwork and meticulous skills makes you a great team player. Happy birth day to Mr.Yorda Musah - Deputy chief registered anaesthetist. He completed Wesley Grammar Senior high school in Accra in 1996 after which he proceeded to Tamale Nursing Training College. He worked as a Registered General Nurse from 200 - 2003 at the Sunyani Municipal hospital. Through contacts and coaching from senior Anaesthetist like late Mr. Kyeremeh, he developed interest in the study of Anaesthesia. This thirst for knowledge sent him to Komfo Anokye school of Anaesthesia and he completed successfully in 2004. He has being working at the regional hospital sunyani from 2004 till date. He has completed a programme in public health from the Catholic University College of Ghana where he obtained first class honours. His work include but not limited to the Assessment of patients before, during and after surgeries. He has the power to put patients to sleep and bring them back after surgeries, which he does with great confidence. Musah is the delight of many for his numerous skills and experience in the health care industry. As if that is not enough, he is a specialist in circumcision, he also has skills in removing foreign bodies in the throat, ears, nose and so on. In times of difficulties in finding intravenous line for medication and infusions administration, he is almost always the last resort. Musah haiks from Asante Akyem Agogo and is happily married to Benedicta Beatrice Adusei with three (3) children. He is a christian and fellowships with the Glad Tidings Assemblies of God Church in sunyani.

Are you fulfilled as an Anaesthetist?  Yes, am hghly fulfilled as an Anaesthetist.

Your advice to young Anaesthetist and all reading your story ? I will advice young professionals and all to be hardworking and year to gain experience, put money last and with time money itself will chase you.

Pharm.Dr. Doris Adom Nyantekyi, You make Pharmacy Admirable

CONGRATULATION PHARM. Dr. DORIS ADOM NYANTEKYI ON YOUR BIRTHDAY

         But for the work of the pharmacist, many lives would have been ended prematurely. The work of the pharmacist include but not limited to preparation of drugs and its administration, reviewing and interpreting physician's order, detecting therapeutic incompatibilities, organizing and coordinating pharmacy services, training of pharmacist interns, pharmacovigilance ; also know as drug safety, collection, detection, assessment, monitoring, prevention of adverse effects of drugs.   I have the singular pleasure to introduce to you our next hero who have been selected for our heroes award 2018 come November, Pharm Doris Adom Nyantekyi.  Pharm. Doris went to St.Louis senior secondary school from 1998 to 2000 and took a course in General science. She had admission into Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology ( KNUST) to do BSc in Pharmacy after she passed her examination successfully.  After successful completion from KNUST, she did her internship at the Sunyani Regional Hospital from November 2005 to August 2006. By dint of her hardworking and meticulous services, she had her permanent employment in the same hospital, where she has being working from January 2009 up to date. Her current grade is PRINCIPAL PHARMACIST. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration ( MBA) in Logistics and Supply Chain at KNUST and she is scheduled to graduate in November 2019, she just graduated with a  Doctor of Pharmacy ( Pharm. D) at the same university. She has a certificate in hospital administration  from the Ghana Institute of Management  and Public Administration ( GIMPA) in 2014.  She is the Pharmacovigilance focal person for Brong Ahafo Regional hospital. She is also the pharmacist in charge of HIV for the Brong Ahafo regional hospital, a work she has done passionately from 2006 up to date, she is an HIV adherence of the  counselor. She is a volunteer member of FRIENDS OF HEALTH ASSOCIATION ( FOHA) and she is the head of the FOHA HIV project.  She also deputizes for her boss who heads the pharmacy department of the regional hospital, sunyani.  Pharm. Doris is beautifully married to Mr.AIKINS OSEI AMOAKO and they are blessed with four wonderful children. She is also the CEO of DORAM Pharmacy. She has good human relationship as well as communication skills, leadership, organizing and facilitation skills. Her smiles are infectious, very humble and easy to approach.

     WHY PHARMACY?  I was influenced by my sister's friend  who happened to be a pharmacist, and also for the fact that the period of study was relatively short as compared to other disciplines. Are you fulfilled as a pharmacist? Yes, am very much fulfilled being a pharmacist. WHAT MOTIVATES YOU AS A PHARMACIST IN YOUR WORK?  To see patients get well after receiving antiretroviral therapy, supporting the weak and the vulnerable in society. 

What is your advice to all reading your story especially pharmacists across Ghana and beyond? Let not money be the motivation factor and the reason for for choosing the profession, but rather let people feel the impact of your profession. Make an impact in your generation and society. 

What is your future plans? My plan is to undertake HIV project with specific reference to orphans as a result of HIV, HIV patients neglected in society. To empower them and help them with livelihood support.

       Indeed , you are really a great hero, your story will inspire and challenge many to rise to the top and peak of their career especially women in Pharmacy. You have been selected for the heroes of health  award 2018 coming this November. Congratulation! You are celebrated for your your outstanding achievements academically and your impact in society especially in the area of HIV and AIDS which you have being doing since 2006. Keep on sharing, commenting, liking and boosting our articles as we celebrate men and women who have contributed immensely to quality health care delivery in Ghana. CONGRATS TO YOU REV.CLEMENT ACHIM GYIMAH FOR OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP

For demonstrating outstanding and stirling leadership qualities during your 5 years pastoral care at the PIWC - Sunyani, for valuable contribtionc to leadership development across Africa and Ghana in particular. Your passion and love for Youth continuous development and life improvement in the life of all especially those who come under your direct care still lingers in the memory of those you served. Your quest for knowledge and information is commendable, you are always learning, you are such a versatile leader. Your respect and love for all ages is worthy of mentioning.  Your influence will outlive you. Through dynamic and innovative - appreciative leasership, you introduced the concept of the Pentecost professional Network : an annually conference that seeks to bring together all the professionals from all fields together, build their skills and competencies in order to be relevant in their field of work in this changing world. This programme has being one of the flapship programmes that has unveiled the dynamic vision of the church of PENTECOST to the outside world especially those  within the BONO region and its environs. Rev. Clement also initiated Marriage school: which is a three months programme for those getting ready into marriage, He initiated the singles ministry, led the PIWC to acquire about 9 plots of lands. All the executives chairs in the PIWC was procured during his tenure in office as the resident pastor, the children chapel was also built during his era. There is tremendous increase in membership, he challenges members to touch their world with the gospel influence with the general vision of the church of PENTECOST in mind for the achievement of the church's 5 years strategic plan " POSSESSSING the NATIONS". By dint of his meticulous work and quest for knowledge, he acquired a master degree in Organizational Development ( MSC OD), He is a certified leadership consultant, a well sought after speaker in conferences and seminars. He is very relational and a team leader,  team player whose philosophy is ingrained in building others, expanding their candidness to take up greater responsibility. As if that is not enough, he has also worked with UNAIDS since 2003 and has being a health advocate, SDG advocate. Through his rich partnership and relationship with the UNAIDS, he recommended  FOHA  as the  Bono and  Ahafo regional organizer of the 2018 world Aids Day, which FOHA did with excellence. He has being on the FOHA board as well as that of the JAKCONSULT as a great advisor with a lot of experience on board. Leaders like Rev. Clement  are very few in every generation. Your ministry and leadership has brought more honour and glory to the Lord, the church of PENTECOST and the entire Christian fraternity. Help me celebrate one of God's Generals and leadership Giants of our day!

His send off service at the PIWC comes on Sunday 11th August, 2019 at 8 am sharp. You are warmly invited to thank the Lord with the Family.

Clement Achim Gyimah has been a minister of the Church of Pentecost for 14 years now. Currently, he is the area youth pastor for Sunyani Area of the Church of Pentecost and the Resident Pastor for Pentecost International Worship Center, Sunyani.

He has been a youth spokesperson for the United Nations for the MDGs now SDGs with wide range of experience in youth work.

He is among the first batch of emerging Africa leaders to benefit from London School of Economies and Political Science- Programme for Africa leadership (LSE- PfAL) in 2012.

He currently serve as youth Advisor on the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN) base in New York.
He is an organizational Development consultant. 
Married to Beatrice and blessed with three kids Josephine,Emmanuel and Nana Kwaffo
