Yesterday 5th October 2019 was another day that FOHA in partnership with WATCHERS' chapel International brought Free Medical Care to the doorsteps of the indegenous people of Kotokrom. The programme was in three parts: Health walk, Clean up excercise and health screening on Diabetes Mellitus, Blood Pressure check to rule out Hypertension, Body Mass Index ( BMI) to rule out obesity, Hepatitis B screening, Dental examination, and General Medical Consultation. The programme brought together volunteers & members from Kumasi, sunyni and it's invirons with the common objectives of helping to detect diseases at their early stage in order to prevent complications. FOHA believes in strategic partnership for good health outcome, thus the need for WATCHERS' chapel to bring in FOHA for such an excercise for the weak and the vulnestabke in community. According to the founder and the CEO of FOHA who also doubles as the founder & senior pastor of the watchers' chapel, he believes government alone should not be left to tackle developmental issues in Ghana, that all relious bodies and organizations should all get involved and committed towards the fight against non- communicable diseases in the country since health is wealth, and it will take a healthy workforce to incerease productivity in Ghana.The programme lasted for 9 Hours. Rev.Jefferson expressed his gratitude to all the medical volunteers who came in to support with their rich human resources without expecting anything in return. He enjoins all Ghanaians to take on the work of volunteering to build a resilient community.
