Under the chairmanship of the revered Bishop Richard Owusus Acheaw, the Bono Regional steering committee of the National Association of Christsians' and Charismatic churches ( NACCC) had their first meeting yesterday 20th January, 2020 at the Living Grace Ministries International, Sunyani. The agenda was reading, adoption and discussion of matters arising from the previous meeting in 2019.
Seven executives members were present with one member absent with apology.
MATTERS ARISING:
# NACCC Rebranding : Through the meticulous work of the steering committee, we now have membership registration forms available for members, membership cards for monthly dues, membership ID cards. NACCC is also projected as a ministerial body that seeks to build the capacity of member ministers , fellowship and become a voice for pastors on national issues of concern especially that which pertains to pastors welfare and development. The chairman made the committee aware of measures that are being put in place to regulate the activities of churches in Ghana in tandem with sound biblical doctrine. This provision of the law if put into effect will requires that every church and by extension pastors belong to a recognized Christian Association in order to operate in Ghana. The chairman intimated that we should encourage and enjoins all charismatic churches within our Bono region and every part of the country to join NACCC for a covering and fellowship. Feedback from the Secratary and Membership & Communication director indicated that over 30 pastors have taken their forms, others have submitted their forms and the enthusiasm of all members is commendable. The organizer also added that the hopes, joy and aspiration of most of the pastors who attended our last breakfast meeting are high and they were impressed about the organization and the package in our last meeting. Proces are advanced towards the opening of bank account in line with good coorporate governance principle and best practices of stewardship.
NEXT BREAKFAST MEETING: Monday 27th January, 2020 between the hours of 9 am to 12:00 pm is the first General Assembly meeting for pastors capacity building and fellowship as well as the breaking of bread together. The theme for the meeting is : GROUP DYNAMICS and it will be facilitated by the chairman of NACCC, Bishop Richard Owusu Acheaw. Other executives would be given the opportunity to talk about the various sectoral operations of NACCC
The chairman spoke about going for NACCC GOVERNING BOARD MEETING at Action chapel International, Accra with His Eminence the Archbishop Nicholas Duncan - Williams as the national chairman of NACCC.
The meeting started at 12:24 pm and ended at 2:30 pm.
