LEVEL 3: PRODUCTION
This level consolidates gains made at level two to ensures that results are achieved for the organization. Because of relationships built, people get things done, with team spirit, they produce results together. At this point, productivity goes up, organizational and individual goals are archieved, morale is high, turnover becomes low, team loyalty increases. Organizations whose leaders become successful at the first two levels eventually become successful. Fostering a good atmosphere for your team will bring the best out of your team members, there will be less conflict and productivity will automatically increase. It is easier to produce results and increase market shares among motivated team than teams with conflict and strained relationship. Almost every leader is hired for results, however, the leader must ensure he / she does not sacrifice good relationship and team spirit in the name of results. For sustainability purposes, build your leadership career through a process and not an event. You would not arrive one day at that point of great leadership, is continnum. Every team leader must know that progress and success of organization can not be sustained within a conflict environment. If you are able to graduate to level 3 of the leadership journey, your team would admire and like you at all cost, and that creates a bridge for going to the next level of leadership: people Development. There are practical team building activities to be done at each level in order to sustain the change and development momentum. We shall continue our next level 4 tomorrow.
