CHRISTIAN OSEI BONSU is admonishing Business owners and leaders from the Coorporate ladder to the religious circle to small scale businesses to have a succession plan as a matter of urgency for business continuity. According to Mr. Chris succession in simple terms is identification of position(s) in organizations and finding someone to fill in for organizational sustainability. He indicated that many organizations have perished after the death of the founders( CEOs) all because the business owners never thought of a day that they would never be available to continue the business. He made an insightful remarks that as a leader or business owner you should expect that people would retire one day, others may may resign and death( the inevitable) will come one day. The big question for all leaders from the Coorporate institutions, religious institutions, NGOs, small scale businesses and families is : Who is going to be my successor in order to ensure the Continuity of all the energy and the efforts I have put into the business in my absence? This is a very critical questions that need to be addressed honestly, that is why you need the experts to help you carve a succession plan in order to ensure the sustainability of your business efforts.
